Dear Skålleagues,

As we ring in 2025, Skål Australia celebrates the incredible connections and opportunities our network offers. This new year is a fresh opportunity to strengthen our bonds, grow our community, and make the most of the unique opportunity for making and strengthening business connections that Skål provides.

To ensure our members and visiting Skålleagues can easily connect, it’s vital that each Club updates and promotes their events calendar. Whether it’s a luncheon, networking night, or special event, having these details available helps all members take full advantage of the Skål network around Australia.

Here’s what we need from all of our Australian Clubs:

1.      Confirm your 2025 events calendar as soon as possible, or at least the next three months, to give people plenty of advance notice.

2.      Make sure the details of your events are posted on your Club’s social media platforms and website. If you need guidance with loading events to your     website, please email me at directorcomms@skal.org.au — I can send you a copy of website manual to assist.

3.      Send your confirmed event details directly to President Ash so they can be uploaded to the Skål Australia website’s events page.

By sharing your events widely, we create a vibrant, accessible network that benefits all members, whether at home or traveling.

If you are not currently part of promoting your Club’s events as outlined above, ask your President or Secretary how you can help. Many Clubs have their AGMs coming up soon and you could consider nominating to be a member of the Committee of your Club and help out with these sorts of marketing and promotion tasks, or others. Many hands make light work, so please consider nominating for your Skål Club Committee. And it’s great fun too!
